Wondering How Long It Takes To Play

Post by canuckgamer »

I'm wondering how long it takes on average to play the campaign game (1941-45) by PBEM?

I've played the 1939 Small Fleet scenario of War Plan War in Europe to August 1945 PBEM and it took us 10 months. I assume that War in the East 2 would take even longer.

I found a thread in the WiTE 1 forum. Read post #2 in that thread. I guess the WiTE 2 campaign will take even longer time to complete.

Up until around turn 30 when terminal Axis depression generally kicks in and the Axis player concedes.

Shame in reality. Is there no incentive for the Axis player to continue ? It is frustrating for Soviet player not to be able to use tank armies until Berlin.
