Roman Civil War

Post by lssah »

I would like to create a mod set in the period of the Roman civil war (Sulla vs Marius, Caesar vs Pompey).
I can design the map, the graphics, the OOB, but I am unable to create the events, etc...
I can dedicate myself to this work on a daily basis.
Do you think this is possible?
Does anyone feel like actively participating in this project?

The events would the tough part. All the backstabbing, venal treachery and barbarian invasions going on in that period would make a Game of Thrones scriptwriter blush.

You can make a mod, then try to get help with events. I'm sure a few persons here can help. Just do that mod to a playable stage ;-) And try not to break the limits again; -)

There is no such thing as a historically accurate strategy game. Every game stops being historically accurate from the very first move player do. First unit that moves ahistorically, first battle with non-historical results, mean we ride in unknown.
