Indian National Army formed at Singapore message flashes despite Singapore being in Axis hands?

Post by Christolos »

It is April 1942 and Singapore already fell awhile ago, yet I got the "Indian National Army formed at Singapore" message.
Am I missing something here?

Cheers,

The message is correct. The Indian National Army or INA is an Axis unit of Indian collaborators that fought under the command of the Japanese Army. It was formed mostly from the thousands of disaffected Indian POWs who had surrendered in Singapore in 1942 and were then recruited by Indian nationalist leader Subhas Chandra Bose to assist the Japanese in freeing India from British rule.

Just like the "Russian Liberation Army" in SC War in Europe which actually fights for the Germans the unit's name can seem like a bit of a misnomer.
