Playing the Allies.

Post by stormbringer3 »

I should finish my game today playing the Japanese on Intermediate AI. I went all in on China and unless there's a last-minute surprise, I'll have a Decisive Victory. I'll play the Allies next. Should I give Japan some extra help above the Intermediate settings?
Thanks for any opinions.

Probably should. The Japanese AI does okay for the first few months then tends to hit a wall. If you sail the Australian Kanga SNLF into Kukum on Guadalcanal the turn after it becomes available, the AI very probably won't be able to take the "capital" before you bring up reinforcements.

I like setting the Japanese AI on Veteran with no spotting or experience bonuses.
