Is there a "differences" list between base and this?

Sure, here they are. They are fairly complete, but not exhaustive.

Thru France as Axis. Going well. AI Allies producing merchant ships. Map looks great.

I've only tested the graphics yet, but they look amazing. By far the best I've seen for WPE.

Do you plan to make them WPP-compatible?

Best!

In Dropbox I see a blue folder called "Total Victory Europe 1939". In this folder there a number of files starting with "ChangeBuild.txt" at the top to "weather.png" at the bottom.

The second folder is a while one called "Total Victory Europe 1939 scn"

Where is the Scorched Earth scenario that you refer to?

Is the intention of this scenario to add more balance to a 1939 campaign game so that the Allies have a chance of winning?

Thanks.

My friend and I were already using one of your graphics mods for the units so I assume this mod will have a different look. I just read your scenario notes and see that a big change is the UK convoy escort starting at 1940. However in my opinion, more is needed to balance the game. My version is 1.00.28 but I don't know if that has the increased combat value for Russian corps. In addition one of the comments I saw was that there should be a revision or deletion of Cold weather which allows the Germans to attack in conditions similar to clear.
We played the 1939 Small Fleet Campaign a few times and the Allies always won. In addition we did some testing and the Axis could conquer Norway on turn one by diverting air from the Polish front. The only time they couldn't was if the weather over Narvik turned bad. Only one of our 10 tests produced the bad weather. Diverting the air had no impact on the conquest of Poland. It means there is never a historical invasion of Norway in the spring of 1940.
However we are still looking forward to WarPlan 2.

The reference to Scorched Earth was a copy/paste error on my part. I corrected it. I updated the link to dropbox in the original first entry of this thread.

In the changes list, I had the Escort tech 1940 with // before it. I am an old coder; it is used for comment in code. In this context it means this change was reversed and thus not implemented. I updated the changes file to avoid confusion.

The reason it was in, was to help the AI because it was very simple to destroy the UK Merchant fleet. However, during testing of my mod I discovered why it was so easy. There is a bug that prevents the UK AI from actually building Merchant Marines at all!

I informed Alvaro of this and he confirmed the bug. It will be patched eventually, but I don't know when. I devised a strategy for the AI though to circumvent this bug. The AI now DOES build Merchant Marines. So I reversed the 1940 Escort tech back to the original.

The scenario must be used in conjunction with the provided graphics files or it will not display correctly (I added quite a few new terrain and resource hexes).

Excellent!

Do I understand correctly that on this truly masterpiece map, in hex 175*37, on the border of Serbia and Bulgaria, the city of Pristina is located? It seems to me that this is too bold a decision! 120 - 150 kilometers :-)
In addition, the hexes 176*41, 176*40, 177*39 they cannot be Romanian. Or, it is necessary to change the course of the Danube.
Hex 174*70, the port of Memel - must belong to Germany...

Hi All,
Got back into WarPlan about a month ago. First, I played the vanilla 1939 small fleet scenario through to about late 1941. There was no Barbarossa, and three German Strategic bomber units were pounding Britain. The U-boats were having it easy as well. From memory, the British Merchant marine was down to 60 or so ships. Was Britain not building more? I think I saw a thread about this. The Middle East was also in Axis hands at this time with German and Italian Mountain troops in northern Persia (Iran) waiting to strike for Baku if Russia got cheeky.

Then I saw this mod. A totally different story. It is now September 26, 1941. My U-boats are struggling in the North Atlantic against the escorts. Most turns I will take losses with no Merchant casualties. This trend started several months ago. Are British tech levels getting away from me? My Attack Submarine Tech Lvl is '41, which gives my Attack Subs a defense of "8". One German Strat bomber unit is doing its best against London. Axis forces in eastern North Africa reached and attacked Alexandria but couldn't prevail and had to pull back due to nil supply in that area. In my own personal Drang Nach Osten, German, Italian (whom I will switch to partisan duties), Yugoslavian, Hungarian and Rumanian troops are deep in Russia. Leningrad and Sevastopol are isolated, Kharkov is in range with maybe Stalino as well before Winter. In the center, the Ruski has comitted himself around Vitebsk and may find himself out of position as I continue towards Moscow. Forces are at Bryansk and almost Vyazma and will pocket the Russians if they don't withdraw their cocky troops between those cities.
Very challenging situation. But that's why they pay me the big bucks.

Thank-you to PanzerMike. I think everything you see in the images is from him. Note: I did like the unit graphics included with this mod, but I prefer "Round" air units so I used one of your other unit mods. Cheers all.
