Is there an underlying issue with the forums?

Post by thewood1 »

As I mentioned on Steam, I am getting errors every time I try to post something. Sometimes the post goes through, sometimes I completely lose all the post. This is what I get.

Lets see if this one goes through...

And then you get this...

And it errored out again, but got the post through.

Also currently for some unknown reason or technical error, there are some countries blocked form accessing the matrixgames website and forums. South Africa, Brazil, India and Serbia. Any admins able to look into this? This started a few days ago.

I was getting time out errors, 404 Not Found errors, etc. the other day too. I figured it was some sort of networking issues or a denial of service attack against some site(s) and Matrix was just a bystander caught up in it.

However, going to the main Matrix site, then navigating to the CMO forum through their menu worked for me. So I bookmarked that. It showed up in the path a bit different than the original bookmark... but it works for me.

Thanks Transient. To add with Singapore, seems Turkey and a few others too. Funny, it seems some parts of India can access while other parts can't. SA still locked out as well.

Anyone from Matrix able to comment on this? Seems it's a glitchy IP block/routing/DNS problem with the server.

Seems to be be a problem for everyone. Sometimes I can get into the forums, but cannot post replies.

Hi, the forum still isn't working for me.

Managed to get around it by using a VPN. :?
