Cookie Cutter Fleet Carriers

Post by Mithrilotter »

In the game, Japanese, UK and US fleet carriers are identical. I would like to see them with national characteristics. For example, Japanese unarmored carrier aircraft were always able to out range Allied carrier aircraft. Japanese carriers had terrible damage control. UK carriers had armored flight decks. They were harder to damage. Sometimes a kamikaze hit would just bounce right off. But they had more limited amounts of aircraft. US carriers had excellent damage control. There is a massive improvement between US Yorktown Class carriers and Essex Class carriers. I would like to see a Super Carrier class, just like we have battleships and super battleships.
