1.3.0.3 - refitted ships won't launch fighters

Submitted an official bug report but adding here. Maybe I did something wrong? The upgrade to my Destroyer design was to upgrade the 2 Small Hive Hangars to 1 Medium Hive Hangar.

I did a refit on the Destroyer hull and changed the Medium to Small. Now I have no idea what is going on. My bombers launch but then remain stationary. In this screen shot my fleet is attacking the base show but the bombers are on holiday.

This is a game stopper, Slitherine and Matrix. I won't want to shelve this for an undetermined number of months again. The Giz are primarily a fighter race and it's unrealistic to force me to redesign and refit all my ships while I wait for this to be addressed.

Which hangar slot do you place the medium hangar in? There are 2 hangar slot, one with an external exit point and 1 that's internal. Currently, if you place the hangar in the non-external slot - that's likely the reason why fighters won't exit the carrying ship. Is that what you're seeing?

Do you have a save showing the stationary bombers?

A1: Why are you asking me what I am seeing when I provided a save game? What are YOU seeing from my ships. If you need a save that shows ships with 2 small hangers that will not launch - I can share. A ship with 2 external slots and 2 hangers (that are both loaded with fighters) should not have any launch issues.

A2: I don't think I have a save showing the stationary ships. That was a seemingly rare situation and in almost every case: the fighters simply don't launch.

The issue here is that the destroyer placed the hangar into an internal slot, so there was no way for the fighters to exit the ship and participate in combat. We're including a fix in the next public beta to help with this, to help ensure that when placing hangars, the first hangar has to be placed in an external slot to allow fighters to exit the ship.

If you see the stationary ship issue again, please let us know.
