New video: Carrier Aircraft Range

Post by HalfLifeExpert »

I don't know if any of you are viewers of the YT channel "Drachinifel", but he put up a new video today that is rather relevant to Command, so I thought I'd share it. I also recommend his work in general as it is excellent history.

Carrier Aircraft Range: How close do you have to get?

Drach does videos on naval history, technology, etc., but usually doesn't go beyond 1945, so his work is normally not directly relevant to Command players.

This video, however, is still relevant to us since the same essential principles do apply right through to the present day.

Indeed, and it's great that he's making a name for himself in Naval academia. He's done some collaborations with the USNI, and recently published his first book with them, it's about HMS Belfast

I'm a long time Drach subscriber. His historiography is on point. Him and Alex Clarke.
