Templates for graphics modders

Well, first of all: Hi to all the forum folks (first post)!

Is anybody willing to create/share Photoshop templates with the modding people to create high-quality custom graphics? What I have in mind is shape/transparency stuff e.g. to make custom-made flags look waving "correctly" (in the way the originals do) or lighting/color gradient masks to get the nation "chips" shiny.

Anyone? Unfortunately, I was never any good at advanced image editing...
