the game is already out right now. I doubt there will be german version, because I don't think the developers speak german and couldn't devote that move time it anyway (working on W@W2 after all!).

I'm not sure if there are that many language dependent aspects, though I can imagine it being irritating reading everything in english all the time.

you english seems good enough anyway, plus there are german speaking gamers playing.

Don't be so sure that there will not be localized version of GGWaW! [;)]

There will soon be version of GGWaW published in German, French, Italian and Spanish. The Gold master is being tested at this moment. I do not yet know if the European publisher has set a release date, but I fully expect it to be released in stores in Europe within the next 2-8 weeks. For those of you wondering, the localized versions will be fully compatible with the 1.040 version of GGWaW, and any future updates will be done for the English and all localized versions. This means that you can play PBEM against others that are using different language versions. Publication in these 4 additional languages should significantly increase the PBEM player pool for GGWaW.
All understanding comes after the fact.

It seems, that the game not came out in other languages.
Because i never heard a longer time something about this project.

I mean if it gives problems to do this okay, but nobody tells something about it.
It's really sad. I wanted it to play it in german.
At this time i don't know if i will buy it on english.

Greetings!

The game is out in an international version. I have had contact with people playing it in Italian and Spanish atleast. Who sells it in Germany I do not know though.

I suggest you mail support@matrixgames.com and ask them to point you to the German distributor.

I've heard from Jorgen our map artist that he saw 2 copies of the international version in a store in Bergen, Norway. The international version should contain German, Spanish, Italian, French and English languages. I think www.blackbeangames.com is the website for the distributor.
All understanding comes after the fact.

Hi,

This was definitely released throughout Europe, including in Germany. The international version did include full German localization. I would take another look around and contact Black Bean Games (link above from Joel) if you still can't find any copies nearby. My understanding is interest was high in Germany.
