When playing online I personally find that its alot more enjoyable if you are able to chat using voice rather than text.

There are several different programs that allow you to do so. I recommend Skype (www.skype.com) because its free and easy to use. All you need to do is to download the program from their home page and to have a head set.

I can highly recommend this.
