So um.........have you converted it from CoW to T3 yet? if not: Go to the Editor and open scenario northafrican 1941-43d campaign.sce ( or whatever the name is ) and then just immediately save it ( with a different name if you prefer ) . That will convert it from CoW to T3 and it'll be safer to play w/ T3, because the events are processed differently since there are more possible events in T3 than CoW, etc.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Ralph,

I am also getting a consistent game crash. I've done everything that has been suggested that I've seen thus far including turning all sound off and installing the patch. I am attaching an Error Report Contents. Hopefully this will help diagnose my problem and that it is relevant.

Thank you!

P.S. I love the game when it works, and I have no intention of giving up on it.

What are you doing when it consistently locks up? Please give a few more details, as in which scenario, what you're doing, et cetera.

JAMiAM,

After I load the game from a .SAL file I attempt to have one of my attack helicopter units attack an enemy position in Standard game playing format. At that point the bullseye mousepointer freezes and the game crashes to the desktop. I have the graphics set to large 3d and hexes visible. It doesn't matter whether or not the sound is turned off. How do I send you this .SAL file for you to review for diagnoses?

Thank you very much!

P.S. The scenario is one I have created from the editor.

You can zip it, and attach it to your posts here. Put both the .SCE file, as well as the .SAL file into a single folder and zip it. When you do, please list the unit I should move, the hex (or hexes) that you're trying to attack, whether you've patched to 3.0.0.17, your system specs, and results from dxdiag.

How do I zip it? Also, I don't know what an .SCE file is. Would you please explain how I might find that? I know I have downloaded the lastes patch, yet I'm not absolutely certain that I have installed it correctly. How do I report my system specs and the results from dxdiag?

Thank you for your help and your patience with my ignorance!
