Glory for Apr

closing the gap, Spain is not dropping too quick for morale, looks like I am going to have to march onto his Cap, to break him

battle to start ended up vs one troop, but he called for help, I shut him down before his help could join him, then, his help showed up and another battle started

ahh, there he is, spent some time takeing out his watch towers, not much to fear from them, but they do like to attack supply lines, normally at the wrong time

surprised, Spain is normally Cav heavy, this should be a easy battle for my troops, I have to cav, to pin him, and the firepower to break him once pinned

okay, this is the set up, right before night falls

I am kind of channelled, but, he is weak there, plus those hills protect my flank, and I don't see any Cav to overly worry about my flanks

well, that is a mistake, he going for my Cav, while I trying to set up, I trained them better then that !

those numbers are not centered, so I think the high number is from a earlier attack that didn't clear off the map yet

you make a mistake in combat, you normally pay for it, they did, I got me a nice new shiney Arty (well, used to be nice and shiney)

wasn't as lucky with the Horse guns, did little damage, and disordered my cav, but I got my new guns out of the firing zones

that is something you will very rarely see from me, my 2nd Gun is unsported, first rule of combat, support your guns, or you will be sorry

night falls and I get some movement in, the enemy is trapped, when the sun comes up, it is time to do as much damage as I can, and end this battle

and here I am picking off the POWs, in fact, I made a mistake, I was thinking of the old CoG, and was waiting for the Hguns to break and run, we don't do that any more

and just in case, those numbers are the supply level each unit has, and my supply wagons

and the battle ends, hmmm, heavier losses then I wanted (I don't have many troops and not much in the way of replacement/reinforcements

plus, in Spain, you had better protect your backtrail, or you going to be sorry

and remember that was a pretty closed in area, the troops that broke, couldn't get out, so went into the bag, a better battlefield and the enemy losses would of been much closer

the rest of the battles

I left some good troops behind me, most times you leave the dogs, in Spain that can be a mistake
