Another suggestion, it has always bothered to lose naval or air experience in the CV units due to restoring the air or naval strength.
Why do naval assets have to lose experience when replacing air loses and viceversa?
Could these units keep track of two different levels of experience, one for the naval forces and the other for air forces?

Please give us the ability to expand fortifications on a hex. Atm it seems like if you have built a fortification on a hex you can't build more defenses at a later point on the sides that are free.

I played a game in which Finland joined the Axis in 1944, it took awhile to bring them back Axis leaning after Allied support in the winter war. At this time the Allies had all the momentum and it seemed implausible that Finland would join The war at this time. I would suggest making it a condition that France is still surrendered if Finland is to join the Axis. Also a second consideration if France is Liberated but Moscow is in Axis hands Finland could still join as Finland was really only at war with USSR. So two possible scenarios, but definitely Finland should not join if Paris and Moscow are both In Allied hands, as these are clear benchmarks that the Axis are on the defense.
I can see that in your game this would have seemed odd, but how about in a game where Germany attacks the USSR in 1940 while ignoring France. Would Finland have sat back as Axis forces advanced into the USSR simply because France hadn't fallen? I'm not sure.
The question is, would connecting Finnish war entrance with the conquest of France, in addition to the current settings of being pro-Axis and the Axis having had to have made some limited advances into the USSR be potentially confusing?

Interesting points. I did not think of a USSR first scenario. Unless I can think of something more to add to this I would say the current handling is best. To be continued... maybe

I wonder, if Germany attacks Russia first will UK & France consider an attack on Germany via the Netherlands and Belgium? If France attacks the Netherlands and Belgium will the USA stay our of the war?

They did not when I attacked Russia first.
In addition to the political consequences, neither France nor the UK were prepared for large scale offensive operations. Similar to Russia, both countries predicted they would not be ready until 1942.

I don't know offhand if the AI will do this, there may be a % chance, but if it were then it would just reduce US mobilization rather than make the USA stay out of the war indefinitely.
There would also be National Morale penalties for doing this.

Yes, it's a very difficult area and I am keen to keep things as simple as possible to reduce any chance of confusion. These sorts of things certainly exercise the brain! [:)]

Thinking further on this, the same could be applied for the supply of the naval force and air force, imo it would be better if the supply could be independent from one another, that would mean two supplies in one unit, maybe hard to implement in the actual model?...

Declaration of War from the subject' capital. Instead of clicking in to the war menu, just right-click on the target capital (say, Denmark), and declare war. Faster and slicker.

I would still like to see adjustable skill levels for PVP , similar to A.I setting all PVP games are not of equal skill.

Bigger font for higher resolutions. (An option for larger print).

Hello,
I don't if this possible, but this is what I would like to see.
Actual personnel numbers instead of just a Strength number and the ability to track personnel losses.

You can see all your losses in the game by type and by country.

I know, I'm referring to the Strength number, having that replaced with an actual unit count

yeah I guess it would be a nice little detail to see some stats like that (number of soldiers, tanks, trucks etc), I guess the strenght number could be a "fast check" (10 strenght = 100% manpower, 8 = 80 % etc) but would be nice to have some more info about the unit in the poperties window, even though having strenght number is enough and numbers of soldiers etc would only be for immersion..

For Diplomacy it has been done, now when you select another of your allied countries the tab of the country where you want to put some diplomatic pressure remains.
Could we have this very same improvement for the Purchase Screen, that is if we have fighters selected and switch from Germany to Italy, stay on fighters rather than HQ.
Thanks.

And while we're at it please make upgrades remain also. If I want to build 3 corps with all upgrades I have to set upgrades on each unit separately, it would be nice if the upgrades would remain after you purchase one unit so you dont have to click the upgrades for the next unit aswell.

Could the mini-map in the bottom center include colored areas/dots to depict units? Maybe black for Axis and green for Allied? I have seen jump maps with depicted units in other games such as The Operational Art of War and the Campaign Series Middle East.
