Plays fine WMP 11 (auto-download CODECs configured player)/XP Pro SP2.

Direct link to file seems to be broken.

Which direct link to file?  I just tried them all and they are working here from my office computer.  (WMP 10 working here BTW).

Interesting.

The link I was talking about is on the Official COTA website.

The old clip from the thread stickied at the top works for me too. It's the updated clip in which I can only get audio to play.

I thought I should share my good fortune in finding the correct codec for this file to play. It is available for both MAC and Windows here:
http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

This is a standard item, but was not included on my upgrade to to "Weapons of Mass Proliferation 10/11.

So, back to the real topic.

Although the 1st incarnation of the guide is impressive, I think it could be improved by showing more contact between forces. Would it be possible for the same scenario to be played as M.P.? In this case the Alllied player could move units forward to engage around the 1st objective, but on low loss tolerance, low rate of fire and probe orders. The view of 2 Aliied companies moving into sight while engaging, manuevering and falling back would telling.
If it could be streatched another minute or so, that would be nice also.
The narrator does have a very good voice for the job.
