Thanks Simon I will hold off on the next version until I see a little more as I want to understand any issues.
Slightly surprised at the Formosa invasion as it just gives time fo rthe Japanese to train pilots !!!

Elsewhere transports move out of Pearl. 100 AP/APAs are heading to SF to pick up the troops there. 100 AKAs/LSTs are heading to Manilla to and will help with invasion landings. The 3 marine Divs that start at Pearl are already en route to the Marianas and are half way to Eniwetok.

And a CVE takes one for the team:

Sept 15th

Today we start the campaign to neutralise all airbases on Kyushsu. Kagoshima is first after the first day the AF is at 85% damaged and nearly 70 planes destroyed on the ground, 40 of them Topsys. We'll pound again for another day, rest then move onto another.

albeit a lot of their pilots are in the 20's or below Japanese pilots really stink apart from a few elite sqns and they dont always have the best planes.

Andy,

Don't forget to check land and air units for withdrawals.

Also see if you can redistribute some of the ships at Pearl. You can only see 1000 ships at any one time disbanded in a port.

Sept 22nd.

18 US Cvs and 5 RN CVs converge at Manilla as the 3 Marine Divs arrive from Pearl. All 6 Divs will be picked up at plonked down at Kumamoto along with supporting troops and supplies.

The 14th USAAF HQ appears to start at Kumning, it's a bit of a bomber magnet for the bombers based at Canton
