Would be nice to have ability to compare units before buying them. I'm trying to figure out if I should buy a rail gun or an armored train but it's very hard to compare them by clicking back and forth. Would be nice to have option to for example press one unit then ctrl-left click another to bring up their stats side by side.

Agreed. I like how it's done in panzer corps for example.

-When bringing up report screen, can we get an option to actually see the latest reports from what happened during AI turn. I mean the messages that pops up when AI is done. Sometimes I leave computer when it's the AI's turn, but those messages just automatically disappears.

Press L and it will recap the AI reports

I missed knowing what was the turn I was playing out of how many.

Me too, what turn is it ?

Also, when the computer turn ends and my turn starts, there is no notification. There are visual ques on the screen that I can see when looking around, but it would be nicer if a pop-up said something like 'Axis Player Turn 3'.

It would be nice if cities and stuff like that would be a little bit bigger, overlapping the surrounding hexes just a little bit or just fully covering the hex it's on. When there's a unit on a city you can't see it at all, only the name.

Edit:

An 'Historical/Ahistorical" option before you start a game, so historical mode would follow events from history while ahistorical could have events that didn't happen, for example completely different locations for allied invasions, ahistorical decision events, USSR attacking allies from Caucasus/Persia etc.

Currently the 'losses' table/chart shows only completely lost units. Wouldn't it be more valuable to the player to see strength point losses?

Example, In my current game only Poland shows losses, because Germany did not lose any units. However Germany did have casualties which will have to be made back up through expenditure of mpps.

I would like to see both :D

I would also like a "unit browser", basically a list of all my units, with option to only show a certain type (like check boxes in Time of Fury) I would like to be able to see different stats in the list, like readiness, strenght, experience, supply etc.

Also I have to mention it again. Elite units(SS, Guards, and Rangers(?)) with special colored counters! It would be so awesome to be able to concentrate and use them as spearheads for major offensives, it would add so much immersion and realism! :D

Some more gameplay suggestions:
. In the "Notes" of Decision Event, it would be great to indicate what was the historical option chosen by the country you are playing.

. Ability to damage the railroad network with bombers (of any kind tactical/medium/strategic) to lower supply and operational movement.
. Repairing the railroad network would be done by spending MPP just like for Reinforcing an unit.

. I understand the production screen is not yet finished. But, would it be possible in the future:
... to select an unit in production and view it. For example, I was willing to know the name of the general for a HQ in production and did not find how to do it.
... cancel a unit currently built in production (retrieving some MPP or not?)

. Would it be possible at this stage to split oil production from the rest of resource MPP?
... My idea would be to add oil consumption for Tank, Plane, Ship units.
... Unit would have to be in supply and fueled if it needs to.

It would be nice if you could left-click the notifications about killed units to take you to the hex where it got destroyed. Now one of my medium tanks died but I have no idea where:/

Also when you have 'operate' selected for a unit you can't press P to see partisans. would be nice to see partisans even though you have already selected 'operate' on a unit. Same thing happens when you want to deploy a unit, can't bring up partisan view.

Is it possible to have a visual indication on the unit counter if it is in sleeping mode or not?
Playing with NATO counter, I have not seen any difference for my sub unit.

I would really like to see in the red highlighted area how many of each type I currently have, plus how many I can have and how long they take to produce. If there is only room for two columns, maybe move the time to produce over to the blue highlighted area. [:)]

I'd like to be able to reinforce and upgrade in the same turn.
It's a drag atm to do both atm.

Couldn't agree more. Even if the unit would need to sit tight for an additional turn (if a punishment is needed for game balance), it would be very helpful to order all repairs and upgrades at the same time.

Agreed, it would help if the cities / towns / ... would always be visible even if occupied by an unit.

When we mouse over the map we get the nice display of hex information to the left and right of the jump map. It would be nice if the Weather Condition in each hex were included in this display [if it's even possible].

Often when I have a unit selected I will scroll around the map to check stuff out, and often I get lost [especially in the deep blue sea!]. It would be a neat trick if a left click on the selected unit [at the green highlight] would center the map on that unit. Please code it, and I will gladly pay an additional nickle ninety-five for the game [&o]

In the research table (the list of what you have researched already) it would be nice if the ones that has been researched to max would be shown in red color like in the research tab.

Also if attacking a city with an armored train or stuff like that, imo it should also do damage to the units in the city.

I would suggest to have the option to view counters on map, and 3D figures at the bottom detailed panel.

Best of both worlds! [:)]

There is a chance of that, but it's a low chance so that their dedicated role remains as a strategic weapon targeting resources, with any damage inflicted on an occupying unit being a nice and occasional bonus.
