Is multiplayer available for beta testers?
Hi
A few of us are currently testing it out, so I expect that it will probably come out to a larger group after the initial tests are over.

Good to know [:)]. I'm ready for testing should you need more volunteers [;)]

The multiplayer part seems to work fine sofar.
Just doing a couple of token moves before ending turn.
Zooming is also working fine again.

Getting a version mismatch with the latest .exe update.

You've probably done what I did - using a shortcut rather than the new exe, as I had this message too.
See Hubert's email from a few hours ago about the naming of the exes.

Just resigned two games.
The red cross disappears and the names changes color.
Shouldn't they disappear or does the oppenent need to confirm?
I believe Hubert cancelled our game and I didn't get any notice of it.

I'm guessing you should receive an email informing you that I've resigned and whether I should still show the fully resigned games or not is something I've just asked Slitherine to clarify for me as I'm not sure what the protocol is at the moment. From what I understand the resigned and viewed games will eventually be removed from the server but after a week or so during clean up on the server end.

Hi Hairog,
Was this just in game during the middle of your turn or during the loading of a turn? Replay? Coming out of the Settings screen?
Anything that can help me track it down will be helpful, thanks,
Hubert

Two odd things about my just started PBEM++ game. I set up a campaign game with a friend, with me as the Axis. When my opponent accepted the game he had to hit Backspace numerous times and then retype the password before it would accept the password. It was as if there were already characters in the field that he could not see. After he accepted it I played the first turn. The server did not even ask me for a password to start my turn. Is that working as intended?
Edit - Same thing where no password is required for turn 2.

Normally in PBEM++ you only enter the password ONCE, when accepting the game. After that, there is no need for it; nobody else can "see" your game.
Don't know about the backspacing issue---does your friend have any sort of password "Safe" on his system? LastPass, which I use, sometimes inserts a password where I don't actually want it to.

We just started a new game so I'll ask if he had the same issue. Could have sworn in all my other PBEM++ games that I had to put in the pw every time. Guess not.

My friend replied about the pw issue:
Since I hit backspace a number of times, I don't know if the problem was resolved. Firefox saves my passwords on web sites, but I don't have a password saver for regular application programs like SC. Nothing appears in the password box other than an underscore "_" before I type.
