I should have a layered defense east of Moscow of 100+ miles.

I start moving Stalino’s industry and just keep a general checker board slowly moving east.

All factories from Dnepropetrovsk have been withdrawn east.
Can you make the picture any more blurry? ;-P
I was able to fix that around turn 9 sorry for the crappy pictures.
Thank you Sir! My eyes are horrid and blurry pictures makes me want to kick the kitty ;-P

I forecast that you will have a "great" Blizzard Offensive with this many troops built up.

The north is not under threat at all so all reserves go to Moscow area.

I keep retreating a few hexes a turn and digging in east of Moscow.

German forces keep moving very slowly east and I start forming some river lines

German armor push ahead 50 miles but no pockets.

Germans push north east, but combat tempo is low and very few units have surrendered. Most industry in the south is in the Urals now. I will not move anything out of Leningrad or Moscow until Germans get closer.

Turn 9 The Finnish stopped attacking the northern land bridge, with a CV of 77 it is safe.

Rzhev north looks to be a solid line also with little to no battles in the area.

A few minor units are pocketed, but the lines look to be solid at this point. I will try and funnel the panzer south east.

In south the German push is still north east as I only checker board this direction.

Model has invited me to the thread, so I'll jump in with some observations.
He is doing a really good defensive game. I did not manage to pocket any units in the south, and that is costing me now in terms of speed and depth of the advance. I think its clear this game wont be over by Christmas, despite the fact that Im just 8 hexes from Moscow and it is still September.
So, the German forces are preparing for the long game.

As for Leningrad, it was quite intentional from my end not to push here. The reason is that pretty much all soviet players throw alot of forces into the defence of Leningrad. Here is a screenshot of the Leningrad front about a month ago from my end:

This looks like a Moscow centric battle plan.
It is a LONG ways to the Winter offensive. Prospects of holding Moscow are guarded, especially with the enemy eying
Tula and Orel with AGS Armor. He ma be eying A push well past Moscow to Gorki
hard to say, but Germany could break out in the south at any time.

In the north I have started attacking where I can, 3 attacks 3 wins. I lost allot of men, but almost all the units gained pts of morale.

In the center Germans only manage 4 attacks vs my main lines and win 3. 3 FZ were built along the northern flank and more units railed in starting to dig in north of the Oka.

Germany keeps driving north east. I pull back the 38th and 50th Armies to counter this move.
