That does have the right symbols showing in China, so it seems that an issue reported elsewhere with this mod, may not be an issue at all!
Which is good news.
I think the only thing missing might be Airfields?

I will have a closer look at the map tomorrow. It's quite late here.
I hope the Bleached Map is fully compatible as I much prefer a lighter map.

I decided to experiment a little and copied the 12 tiles_sprites files from Bleached Map 2.1b into Iron Cross WAW replacing the original Iron Cross tile_sprites files.
These files are
tile_sprites

tile_sprites_frozen_zoom
tile_sprites_ice
tile_sprites_ice_zoom
tile_sprites_mud
tile_sprites_mud_zoom

tile_sprites_zoom
I like the Iron Cross unit counters but I find the map a little "washed out" so this adds more colour courtesy of the tile sprites files from Bleached Map 2.1b
It seems to work with the only anomaly being missing the line on the map to the east of Hawaii informing the Axis player about the morale hit if moving units east of that line while Honolulu is Allied.

Those are in the game's official symbol's files, which is why I am surprised you cannot see them.
Can you see the icons in Manchuria for Japan if they are/aren't garrisoning the places they need to, in blue/red respectively?
Or if playing as Allies, China has some in two provinces that also will be blue/red according to if a relevant Chinese unit is in the right area?

With Iron Cross WAW and Bleached Map 2.1b tiles sprites the garrison requirements on map graphics are missing for both the Chinese and Japanese garrison hexes (2 for the Chinese and 6 for the Japanese). However if you hover the cursor over the relevant hexes then the pop up informing the player of the garrison requirement does appear.

Hi,
I just downloaded the Spires counter MOD, it looks cool, and I enjoy it a lot, but what does this blue shape with black dots mean? It shows when I select a unit, it doesn't bother me, but I would like to know what does it mean? What does it indicates?

It shows that the unit is located in a city.

That the blue button on the right of the bottom panel to Hide/Show Map Info is currently turned to OFF.
Pressing it should turn it ON, and show the symbols relevant to the side you are playing.

Something weird must be happening on my end then as I am aware of the blue button and it isn't that. It is not even the tiles sprites from Bleached Map 2.1b. It is the Iron Cross WaW mod itself.
Here is a screenshot of iron Cross WaW and the garrison blue exclamation mark and does not appear but the popup does when hovering the cursor over the hex.
It is fine and perfectly playable as is. When using Bleached Map 2.1 the blue garrison requirements are visible and so I can just use that or Iron Cross WaW as I know about the garrison hexes and can play the game without having to see them.

Ah, and the Iron Cross mod does have symbol sprites files in it. Delete those and I think the issue will be resolved!

This is the best counters for II WW in my personal opinion. I copied to pacific files and working good
