On a side note, Korrigan, I might be moving from New York to Marseille for a year (for archival research). Got any advice? [:D]
Well, I don't know Marseille enough to be able to help you very much. [:(]
However, you'll be just 2 hours away from our offices (Lyon and Grenoble) so be sure to pay us a visit if you happen to pass by these cities. [8D]
Lyon is a very nice town.
Cheers,
Korrigan

I purchased the original GalCiv for OS/2 when it first came out, was very disappointed to find out later that none of that money actually ever got to Brad.
Ahh, Erik u bring back memories. Back in '94 or '95 I was working for a software store that was cohosting along with a leading national newspaper the first set of the Danish national Civ 1 championships. Since i was employed there i couldnt participate[:@].
Instead i was showing off GalGic on OS/2 in an exherbition room. Ppl was very sceptic about the whole OS/2 thing and i didnt really blame them. Still i had to "sell" the product, but since no one bought OS/2 in dk for personal computer it sold close to 0 at leased in the store i worked in. I do own both of the PC versions tho.
Kind regards,
Rasmus
P.S i heard some where when u start to tell stories of the "old days" thats means u ur self have becomed old. Notice taken.[:D]

LOL. I remember getting a copy of OS/2 as soon as it came out and formatting the drive of my PC and loading it up. It took about 3 days as I recall to get everything tuned perfectly before I finally realized that there was no software available (and specifically no games) to run on my fancy new O/S and that I had just turned my state-of-the-art PC into a very advanced paperweight.

You didn't answer my question: What happened to the Dream?

You or not as the publisher/developer you still destroyed it and ours.
