General Le May is going to be WAAAAAY ticked at all those B-29's that wont be coming home. I would start padding the BDA reports if you know what's good for you.

The 100 AP/APA TF just loaded 250,000 troops and all their kit in one day in SF. Nice job dockies!
Maribes arrive at Manilla with a mere 13 disruption points after their move from PH. Off loading now so we can get them into amphib TFs.

It looks like most of the IJN activity is centred around convoys to and from the Asia maniland with a few sneaking past Formosa to the north I assume to Indo-China and HK. Most of the boats patrolling to the south of Japan are being redeployed to intercept these, although it has to be said that IJN ASW is pretty good now.

This is what we know about Tokyo so far:
I don't understand this. Tokyo had been totally burned out in the Spring of
1945 (and almost all of the rest of Japan's cities by the late Summer). Did Curtis LeMay & Co. take a 9 month vacation?

I think you really need to be a bit more respectful to the future head of SAC. Where do you think all the shiney toys come from...hmmmm?
Do you really want to do your bombing campaign with Wellingtons and Blenheims?
BTW...what is an "arse"?

Hope it's not this bad.
USS Franklin
BTW...why are the ops losses so high on your Hellcats and Corsairs? Are they flying LRCAP or is it just battle damage?

I'm not flying any LR Cap so I'm guessing it's battle damage. Ther were and are today a LOT of attacks on the TFs. Another 955 jap planes were destroyed tday for the loss of 174 allied

Yep, the fallout from a 10 ton bomb is safe, unless you happen to be standing anywhere near the aiming point!

It could also be based on the number of sorties they fly each day, there could easily be 400+ F6F's flying CAP each day.
