Kiel surprise rolls were 9, 9. Axis 2 surprise points which I saved for damage as best option. AA lowest 1 of 6 reduced 1. Result was a single abort directed at CP's.

Japanese Coast search USSR 2, Japan 4 -> 8 surprise points.

I took the liberty to abort the remaining Japanese CP to Sasebo with the other. I can redo should Japan wish to take the chance on a second search.

Italian Coast search was an Axis find 2, Allies 8 -> 7 surprise points. Obvious decision here was to avoid for Axis.

Axis can intercept French GS with FTR2 in target location and/or German FTR2? Axis AA also available should the bombers get Through.

It's early in the morning, hadn't had my coffee yet, may not be thinking correctly and not that it matters in the final result given the allies missed finding with an 8; but,

How did the axis find with a 2 given no allied CP and axis only in 0 box?

With It Nav in 0 box, no allied CP & fine weather, wouldn't it take a 1 for the axis to find?

You may need another coffee 😉

The Italians already had a Gab flying in the 4 box. It didn't really show up in the picture I posted however I thought the Italians might have known they flew it there on a previous impulse :D

I was hoping to get a crack at it.

The Italian FTR2 intercepts. It land SE Brussels.

AA fires if the FTR3 is cleared.

French fighter bombers make it through, but German AA wipes all the GS impact.

Japan:
2 TRS + INF + GARR Japan -> Port Arthur
CV + 2 BB + 2 CP -> Japanese Coast

No naval searches.

Allies may search in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Japanese Coast.
