Can that CVP be edited? There are many CVPs with the same name. I think It’s my best 1 size CVP, but if it cannot be edited, I’m OK to get one BP and build new. If anyone can fix that, it would be great.

JJ said I should do the turn end, so there will be one week break as I’m travelling.

No, I am not comfortable in editing saves.

Mayhemizer, or peskpesk, might be able. Or perhaps we can get some external help. Or do it the old fashioned way.

I know how to edit BP and pilot, but not CVP. I believe I could edit ARM HQ or capital ship as there is only one of kind, but there are many CVPs called Swordfish.

My suggestions are
1) ask if betatesters have tool to fix this
2) ask if rkr1958 can fix this
3) give CW 1 BP and 1 pilot

Editing in a CVP on a carrier makes me fear errors. I rather see it edited to a land hex.

The only way I'm able to edit these is to go back to a save prior to the issue for the CVP & CV in question. Save the CVP & CV data and then copy that data over the corresponding CVP & CV in the current game file. Finally I then place the restored CVP & CV in its proper location (e.g., when the CV is in the current game file). I've had a lot of success with that approach. If you're uncomfortable with that type of edit, or not following me exactly, I'd be happy to give it a shot if you wish to post both a prior and current game file.

We have had issues with CVPs before. And I de recall such issues in other games. Therefore, I suggest that giving CW BPs, or adding pilots, or a combination, is the safest way to proceed.

That is the safe way to go.

I’m OK with it, but CW needs to use one air action before CVP is on CV as CV stay on sea. CW might take air action at some point and after that we have no problem. If there is a situation when we would like use CVP before it’s on CV, can we somehow roleplay it?

I am ok with some 'role-playing' to simulate how it should have been. Does that include oil usage if the cvp is to be reorganized? Or are we to role-play it to a disorganized state? :) ;) :lol:

We can use oil for it. I just mean there might be a situation we would like to use it on impulse 1. Other option is that first impulse Axis do nothing and Allies rebase that CVP. Then we just have to know what rolls are needed to end turn.

Ok, so we will go with 1 BP and 1 PIL. I don't know how to edit pilots. I do know how to add BP while doing EOT. I can probably start EOT soon but can someone else add the PIL later? Petteri - do we need PIL this turn to place plane? If so can Axis re-send EOT file with PIL added?

I think there are so many planes arriving CW needs pilot. Pilot could be added to reserve pilots or arriving pilots. Or move one plane from reserve to map, would that give us a pilot?

How would rkr1958 fix this? What is the easiest way?

It looks pretty simple to move a PIL to production and coming in the current turn or add a PIL to the reserve pool. Post your game file at the factory destruction phase and I'll be happy to do so (either way) or show you how. Just let me know how I might help.

That sounds good. We can post save file or if you can easily point out how to find correct pool we can even edit it. I usually edit units or BPs when I know in which hex they are. I don’t know how to find pilots in pools.
