A problem with victory conditions. Either they are not written at all or there is something wrong with them.

Hi folks,
here is a screenshot from my savegame i createdd during my testing like a year ago. If i load it i get all the briefing you need. In terminators file it is gone.

As you can see below, we can discard the "not written" part. Something odd is at work. I am readying my bug traps...

With the Editor, I found "
No visible representation" strange. I tried to change that but it didn’t change anything (?) Sometimes it’s necessary to start over from scratch.

Hi Ronald,
So we are left with the other part - something wrong.
I could take a look at the scenario file - by the way, can you send me the Soviet campaign?

Hi folks,
so today i took a look at the Vienna problem and found the cause. You simply were too successful, terminator [:D]
The way the conditions are created in Vienna means that they disappear if you have more that a certain amount of brillant victories.
Next i need a solution.

Hi Ronald,
I'm gald to see you back.
I guess it’s because of the Variable
SD-BV:

The
titles and
objective texts are missing in this case, maybe that’s why nothing appears on the screen?

thanks, and i am glad to be back.[:)]

I guess it’s because of the Variable SD-BV:
Exactly. The briefing does something odd, as it handles the conditions as fullfilled and thus deems it not neccessary to display it.
I think it evaluates
only this variable and leaves out the rest.
The Prague event is sort between two success rates. If it had text, then the current system would display both of them at once. That's why the texts are empty.

Hi folks,
the unit history can now have more entries. If the list is full it will add "..." but no additional names. So you will only see the most recent ones if you play a mega campaign in the future. Which is still a lot as you can see in the image. There are 44 units listed and the end is not reached yet.

Hi folks,
the Vienna case should be solved. It was my fault by using the campaign variable simultaneously for <= and >= and leaving out texts (as termintor thought) as a solution for a problem i created myself. Will be fixed in Aus.F. - thanks for reporting.

Hi Ronald,
The new unit history looks good [:)]
Perhaps it would be good not to have too long unit names and preferably always use identical abbreviations.
For example on the image, for the
17. Tank Brigade, it could be
17. Tank Bde.

Hi Ronald,
This is a good improvement.
If I want to write a detailed history of one unit (like a short AAR covering that unit, the support it receives and the enemies it destroys) I will have to look at the combat protocols anyway.
@terminator
In the 1941 campaign most units have abbreviated names. I have missed some and need to look at the scenarios again.
'''Bunker garrison'' can also be abbreviated to ''Bunker''. If a bunker was destroyed, it had a garrison in it. If the attacking unit takes an empty bunker without a garrison, there is no battle.

Bunker garrison -> Bunker Gar or Bunker Garr?

Most bunker garrisons have no names in scenarios, except for bunkers marked with letters in Mozhaisk scenario and numbered fortified regions in Kishinev scenario and maybe Odessa - so the game gives you the unit type instead of a specific name.
You can give names to bunkers in one scenario and see which name is best.

Is the length of the unit name a problem with the new unit history?
The limit for unit names appears to be
20 characters:

Good question, as its not only the amount of letters, but the width of the letters which may vary. If you type 20x "W" it will be broarder than 20x "i".
I have not tested that with the extremes so far, only with regular names. So maybe there will be display errors in these cases ?
