Japanese surrender at Lae. The Coral Sea is now an Allied lake. Allied and Japanese destroyers mix it up at Sorong. A U.S. destroyer is sunk.

Between the Russian, Chinese and Indian meat grinders, I think the Japanese are starting to bleed out. It looks like the Japanese are starting to crumble on these fronts. I can easily replace my losses. Those air resupply missions are expensive. I think 120 a pop?

It is 120 for the air transport. But once built, the missions are free (they can do one a turn, either para or supply). They can be intercepted and destroyed however...

If it happens (with a successful interception), you will get a message (Something like air supply : failure). It means the air transport was destroyed. I personally do not recall a failure of air supply where the air transport survived.

The Soviets are mauling the Japanese army in Manchuria. I can't see this front holding out for a year. Allied landings on Ponape and Nauru.

If you're playing Japan, avoid Soviet entry at all cost. Because they will chew you up.
