You are doing well. Just perhaps possible to salvage the game for the Allies if you invade France early in 1943.
Personally though, I am completely unstoppable as the Axis, 100% win rate. And I don't consider that a brag.
I think Axis supply rates are too high in Russia. Partisans have no effect, and German units have 9 supply even at Stalingrad.
Add to that virtually unlimited German manpower, and very high production.
Yes, I think I would have lost if my opponent had Tank corps and not Mechanized corps. Mechanized corps are too weak and I think this is why I was able to resist. Also, if BoA was done correctly; the Allies MM fleet would have been lowered meaning USSR production would have been lowered too.
German manpower is clearly something too high. I would lowered all these manpower events. German high production could then be sent to Romania, Italy, Hungary so that they build a decent army in the east and have more of them on the frontline.

And here is the answer from my opponent.
February 1943, German manpower is just under 80% right now. Seriously.

Red air force is completely repaired but it is not impacting manpower normally.

German army still higher than the Soviet one. There are few units in France and Low Countries nothing else. Italy is plenty of Italian units, no German at all. Nothing in Yugo or Greece or Norway since these countries were ignored.

Meanwhile, STAVKA has detected a weak spot in the enemy line and several rifle armies are coming to support a local counter attack.

Of course I am. Germany lost in Russia with enormous sacrifices for the Russians. Thanks to the strategic bombing campaign of the Allies that removes the Luftwaffe from the Eastern front. And, thanks to the lend lease but the Soviet production did its part too.
I like to play quite historically. Of course, I could try D-Day in France in 1943. But my goal here is to see if Russia has the potential to win with this new patch.

End of February 1943, blizzard on the frontline, I am launching few counter attacks. See how the Italian air force numbers have been reduced turn after turn by USA and UK fighters in North Africa.

And we have something new, we have victory. For the first time in this game, the Soviets have performed an overrun on a German corps in the blizzard.
And, looks like the Germans are losing more men than Soviets for the first time too.

March 1943, heavy rain blocks every operation. With the combination of the fleet and of the air force, the Italian air force continues to be reduced. Looks like Germany is denying any help to the Italians. There are still no German units in Italy.
