Exact as historical here it looks like for the most part. So far in this game I think overall the Germans are ahead of schedule even though I have had a tempered advance. My supply is getting better by the turn from the redundancy and really feel the Germans are capable of some pain on the Soviets if advancing correctly. Is my way the "correct" way? I don't know but has been working out for me so far in the game. Yes, the bombing is relentless but not game threatening in my opinion. I could be wrong but after my post on AS and learning things in that post I think the GA can be dealt with but that specter is still on the fence but I feel much better on how to deal with it. I will keep my eyes on it to see how it plays out.

I have 13 Soviet Divisions in pockets this turn. Most of the pockets "
will not" hold but in the end they all will become POW's in due course. I just did not have the MP's to secure some properly. Jubjub is really good at opening them

My lowest inflicted losses on the Soviets in awhile. Soviets will grow more than I like this this time

Nothing I can do about that. Most of that is surrendered units returning and sucking up my manpower

trust me, I’m bringing them to the map ASAP.

Yes, I kind of figured that. I didn't mean to imply you were not. It is the nature of the beast during these turns for the Soviets. I am sure you are managing those reserves as well as your defense which the defense has been a pain in my arse. (meaning you have done very well in my eyes)

There is also a couple of towns down south that have a large oil production.
A question I asked weeks ago, is it a good idea to Priority Repair these, answer was dont worry as oil production etc, is just an abstract part of the game as will not increase your supply (which you will notice in the production screen is always on the limit).
Shame really as it would have added a layer to the game if you could influence the economics.

That is disheartening

I hope what of above about oil is false...
Oil and Resources should impact heavily the game definint production values and quantities; way more important than 'thickness of this or that AFV armour'.

The extra oil will go to your fuel factories and extend the date at which you run out of fuel. I haven't had a game go long enough to know the full impact of resources, but you can see the difference in the charts when you connect places like Krivog Roi. I imagine you'll run low on that as well at some point.

You can run low toward the end of 1942, and then again in 44-45. Capturing oil should help as you have excess fuel factory capacity. Will this impact all games? No. But depending on how the game goes and how much fuel the Axis consumes with his movement, it should make a difference.

Thank you for all the input on Oil & resources. I was in the middle of testing this and did show an increase. So now for long haul games I will further incorporate these hexes into the Reich for Germany at the earliest possible time

I did notice that Oil takes an awful long time to repair even with multiple repair units. Anyone did an analysis of the optimum # of repair units to repair say Oil? Resources? etc?
