The Sun Begins to Set

1900 Hours arrives and the sun begins to go down reducing visibility to 4 hexes. The reduction in visibility does nothing to stop the ferocity of the battle raging around Apple Hill. Another Union Division joins in the attempt the retake the Hill. The Confederates begin to feed Artillery Batteries directly into the line. IF Nemo continues on this course, the casualties will mount amssively...
Both Nemo and I have now agreed to follow the House Rule regarding Melee attacks. We are also talking about the movement reduction to slow things down...
I will do a comprehensive post when night falls in a few turns.

Who has the victory at the moment...or is it listed as a draw?

We keep see-sawing between minor Rebel defeat and minor Union defeat. As soon as it is night, I will post the casualty list.

No turns from Nemo this day. I think he had a HOT Date!

Nemo and I have decided to implement the new House Rules by starting new battle. We are debating between Shiloh and Chicamauga. I am wide open as to which one and the side we play.
We'll have to see what the decision is.
I am sure that we will run concurrent AARs again.

John, great effort and I look forward to additiional games/AAR's. I wouldn't mind seeing another Gettysburg (switch sides?), however I'm sure whatever is agreed on will be fun to watch.

Both those battles are cool. Personally I prefer Chickamauga because the two armies are pretty much even.

I would vote for Chickamauga as well... or maybe the Murfreesboro scenario that is included.
