on my latest Bob PBEM turn, I ended the turn and emailed it to my opponent now we both get the "you are not allowed to open this turn" when we try to open it.

Is there a way to fix the file

have one of you replaced your computer?

I hate asking obvious questions...

normally it only does this if you don't prepare the turn properly first (end phase) but then you can still open it... so I'm not sure.

No we have not changed computers, when I saved the game everything looked fine. My opponent was on holiday and using his laptop in a diffrent location.

We are playing a BTR game as well that is now having the same issue "The users on this system are not auth to open this game"

Is there a way to fix this or do we need to start new games

one of you has changed computers or reinstalled the game.

there's file in the program folder called "btruser.dat" which contains your entry for access to the game. he will have his own as well. if this file is lost or deleted you will lose access, though its not a big deal for me to create a new one. PM me your save and your btruser.dat files and I'll see what's gone wrong.

making user management easy is a goal for after the current patch.
