Tough battle, but as 3rd Spearhead commander I managed to inflicting maximum casualties on the Soviet spearhead, 68th Guards MRR. I had to order our unit commanders to using terrains and height of the hills to our advantage. Saluted to 2/3rd Combat Av Bde with over 132 kills (with 22 citations for effectiveness)Well done, Apache crew! At least, I stopped 68th Guards MRR in cold, and forced them to withdraw from the battle.

It seems as though the normal outcome has occurred. The Soviets take ground (VL's) at a high cost (Enemy Losses). The end result is basically a draw.

NATO gives ground to hurt Soviet battle formations. That was the plan.

Soviet forces take heavy losses to take ground. That was the plan.

When the two come together the question is two fold, who makes the least amount of mistakes and who can come closest to having their battle plan work as intended. [&o]

I'm glad the scenario was competitive for you.

Good Hunting.

MR

Thanks, Mad Russian! I love this game, and continues to making me to come back for another round(s): ) I also have an original game (Flashpoint Germany) but in my opinion, this is game is far better and much depth than original.

Choke points are great places to setup Kill Zones.

You just have to watch that they don't kill you in the process.

I'm glad you are enjoying the game. I look forward to more of your results and AAR's.

Good Hunting.

You need to post that result for those Apache's in the high score thread.

That's the most I've ever seen for a unit in a single action!

22 Awards will get you bits of metal and ribbon to pin on your uniform!! [&o] [&o] [&o]

Good Hunting.

Mad Russian, that was my plan to create a kill zone/chokepoint. I tried to keep my Apache and Kiowa out from the Soviet AD zone, but Soviet AD managed to take some of my precious Apache and Kiowa out from the sky. Later,M1A1s and M2/M3 were able to eliminate Soviet AD threat
