It is turn 6 in our game right now
I'm quite inexperienced, have started playing wite only recently
Thanks to Dinglir for giving me an idea on how to write this

I tried to replicate the opening of Mr. HardLuck, that is go heavy in the south (the whole PzGruppe gets funneled underneath the marches), quite light in the middle (only one PzGrp there, get less terrain but still pocket nearly everything there is to capture) and pretty standard top, focusing on clearing the railroad to Riga.
The motivation here is that in the south the Soviets have most of their troops, so I need the punching power to capture as many of them as possible. In the center you cant really get much better result with 2 PzGruppen comparing to 1, so why commit 2? There is of course the advantage of much faster terrain clearing, leading to the quicker infantry catch-up in the following turns, but it was my decision to go for the chance of additional pockets in the south. In the north I focused on pocket tightness instead of mass Daugava crossing, we will meet in Pskov regardless (irregardless?).
The execution went okayish, Im happy with the south even though I think I should position my Panzer Division directly near Proskurov, preventing an easy rail-out of the Soviet mech corps from the outskirts of the city. The middle went a bit worse, with one pocket being opened, due to my mispositioning of one PzDiv NW of Minsk (one hex too far?). The North Im least pleased with, I fumbled once or twice, especially with the airforce, but at least the pocket was tight. I have not yet grasped the idea of herding routing Soviet units into specific routpoints (inside not outside of a forming pocket), if anyone could share that secret most of the community would be thankful

I understand the idea is to capture potential routpoints earlier and only then rout the Soviet units, but how to get to the points on the other side of the Daugava not punching through some Soviet formations?
