Bug: Losing 30PP for getting a HQ killed despite using Evacuate

As the title says - I managed to get the entirety of the 4th Army surrounded, which was stupid, but thought I could at least try out the Evacuate card, which I played on the 4th.

The next turn, I get a message in my staff report that I've been docked a whopping 30PP for getting my HQ destroyed, with a helpful tool tip letting me know that I should evacuate HQs to stop this from happening!

The report listing the "cards played" correctly noted that I did play the evacuate card on the 4th HQ, and the HQ dutifully appeared in a nearby city. There were also no reports identifying the 4th as getting wiped out in combat or anything like that.

I guess that when the -30PP penalty was added for getting HQs killed, no check was added to see if it was evaced out?

So... this isn't getting fixed then?

Aside note: are all updates available from here, or do I have to use Steam?

Hi Squid,

Nope, that one was missed. Next time.

Updates turn up in both places eventually but the timing is outside of our control. Steam typically is fastest.

Cheers,
Cameron

Hey,

Thanks for the reply.

I take it this means you guys are still doing the occasional patch then? If so that's pretty awesome, since many devs don't bother fixing games past a certain point.

I ended up making a steam account already and redeemed it over there, since the discussions on there made it seem like a new patch had been released - unfortunately that turned out not to be the case.

However, if you guys are planning future patches at some point, please also have a look at these (or tell me they're working as intended, so I can move one ;)):

Goering's Luftwaffe fuel request (and what seems like an exploit) (can't post links atm, just look for a sea creature posting recently on the Steam DCB forum).

Supply question (as above).

The latter one, if not a bug, could do with some clarification in the manual. The way I read it, divisions will ask for enough supplies to enable them to regain their readiness, capped at 40% per turn. If they cannot get all that they ask for, then they dip into their stockpile to make up the shortfall, if possible; however if there is no supply shortfall then the division shouldn't be touching their supply stock, right? I always figured the supply stock was there for emergencies, when it was cut off or supply was otherwise hindered/reduced - not something that's dipped into when everything seems fine...? Or am I missing something (e.g. is the "normal" max readiness gain actually 30% even with requesting full supply, but a division can push it to 40% by using its supply stock?).

(Apologies for munging these together instead of starting separate topics - was hoping to just be able to link to the existing Steam topics).
