Are all scenarios and campaigns playable as Soviets?

Or are some really meant to be played as the Axis? (I always feel a moral quandary playing for the Nazi side.)

If the scenarios are playable on both sides, are they balanced in the event that the Russians are chosen ?

Between two experienced players of equal skill, I think the game favors the Soviets. Between two inexperienced players the game favors the Germans. I think the most fun I ever had with this game engine was learning the ropes. It's like learning to play chess.

I enjoy playing the Soviet side. The strategic initiative is with the Axis and so some scenarios offer a "live to fight another day" challenge to the Red Army player, but several scenarios have the Red Army squarely on the offensive..with lots of tanks.terminator wrote: Sat Apr 16, 2022 8:46 am If the scenarios are playable on both sides, are they balanced in the event that the Russians are chosen ?

Against the AI a good player has a real chance to turn the table.
