Tough Old Gut: Salerno REDUX2

One of my favorite scenarios from Desert War is a post-production bonus scenario that I created called, "Tough Old Gut -- Salerno". It had a second major revision called, "Tough Old Gut -- Salerno REDUX". It will become my test bed for exploring the game requirements needed to model operations in Northwest Europe circa 1944. Sooo...YOU get to have a look and a play when it is available as, "Tough Old Gut -- Salerno REDUX2"

I have just finished the "game wrapper" text, graphics, the map, and converting the German ground OB to Stalingrad standards. Working on the Allies now. This is gonna be a fun one -- again!

One of my favorites too. Great formations on both sides, and each side is fun to play.

Ooooo...not everything is mod-friendly in our game engine. As the Salerno mod uses the Stalingrad engine, I don't want to overwrite any files that compromise the basic game. Victory Hexes are "forever" soooo...Salerno will have Soviet versions of Victory Points. We'll need a solution for this artifact in the future.

...or transform this map as an "Odessa".scn with the units (Rom/Youg/Ger/Hun) who already believe; I think the map is near this one... :)

Brian's game engine is, and has always been, Modder Heaven. He just sent me the latest build and IT. IS. AWESOME.

The playground keeps getting bigger. Nice!
