De-selecting ALL scripts on a new game

Like I mentioned in some other posts, I am relatively new to SC and, although I seem to have managed to learn enough of the game to be successful to some extent, I am on my fourth playthrough as the axis in the 1939 Scenario, which I will try to finish
this time. Anyway, I was wondering what would happen if I de-select ALL (or at least the majority) of the scripts for that scenario when starting a new game. Will it enhance replayability (like the AI doing unexpected things instead of the "expected" same events that happen in this scenario on each playthrough) or does the AI become passive rendering the game unplayable/very easy?
Of course, I plan to try other scenarios but for the time being I am still a little overwhelmed by the number of things happening on the 1939 Scenario, let alone the others...
