Just curious has to why I cannot rebuild this division. There are others also, they were split at one point and now I would like to reform them. Thanks

Correct.btd64 wrote: Sun Sep 22, 2024 12:19 pm OK, A division that is split into three must maintain the same divices among all three parts in order to recombine. Doesn't matter if it's Japanese or Allied....GP
Hi Hanzberger, Any chance of a upgraded wire chart for Japanese aircraft?....GPHanzberger wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 6:57 pm Ok thanks to all that replied. I actually remembered after I posted it. But good knowledge to those who are new to the game.
Yeah, well we've all fallen to this trap at LEAST once. For me, it's more like once/game if I'm lucky. Anyway, by careful manipulation of the "stockpile" option on the "Industry/Troops/Resource Pool" page, you should be able to upgrade all 3 parts to the same and then get them together. Pretty rare that I'm not able to eventually combine them.Hanzberger wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 6:57 pm Ok thanks to all that replied. I actually remembered after I posted it. All that and how long depends on production rate so in can take months in some cases to build up the pool.PaxMondo wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 12:57 amYeah, well we've all fallen to this trap at LEAST once. One good trick is to upgrade squads by regiments. This is the only case where you actually want to divide a division for faster upgrade, cause old squads wil be upgraded to new ones in the pools. So you only need regiment-level pool buildup for squads to finish the process in several turns. To be clear, Regiments have to upgrade before combination into a Division. If you combine into a Division and then divide that, the Division's TOE is in effect and you have three parts of a Division with all the attendant devices. You can set the non-squad devices to stockpile if you want but I am not sure if that would help the squads with recovery from battle. It might - if support squads from Base Forces and the like can apply more of their recovery points to just the squads.GetAssista wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 3:12 pmOne good trick is to upgrade squads by regiments. If the infantry and other combat squads are being stockpiled but the unit keeps getting support squads and support devices such as motor transports, then there will be more support for the unit and the unit should repair disabled devices faster.BBfanboy wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 3:06 pmTo be clear, Regiments have to upgrade before combination into a Division.
