Night move question #2

With night move (on the turn of night move) my fleet should be immune to air intercept. But it seems it can be intercepted if the night move ends joining other ships. Is that intentional? Bug or feature?

Intentional due to exploits.
Imagine having a fleet out at sea for 3 turns. Then you move 1 ship in a nightmove to them. Is it fair they are a night move now? Think about how to exploit this.

That is fair, I agree with that. But it should start on the opponent turn.
However what happened was that I moved the ship with night move, it was attacked and damaged on the very same turn it did the night move (and joined the other two ships in the fleet)
To be precise, I had 2 ships where the UK fleet is on the picture and I moved 1 ship from Iraklion to join the other two. It is a 6 hex night move. The ship moving from Iraklion was intercepted.

Yea it can only be intercepted by surface. The detection is halved. But if it is close to the enemy they have a better chance of spotting you.
