Serial Number error

Have emailed support@matrixgames.com twice now (Tues night EST and tonight) without a response. Get the following:
SERIAL ERROR:
This product's serial number is either invalid or has
not been properly authorised. Please contact . . .

I put in the serial number as it appears in the
order confirmation from DigRiv, so that is NOT a problem. I've almost memorized that serial number. I removed it, reinstalled, same problem.

Answers???

Dr. Smith,

Not sure why you haven't received a response, but as to the issue I believe it's a glitch in the installer on certain systems and hope to have a fix posted tonight. Can you please post your systems specs in the meantime? Thanks, apologies for the inconvenience.

Regards,

- Erik

David,

I just tried to reply to you by e-mail, but it was returned as undeliverable. I assume this is also why earlier replies did not get through. Keep an eye on this forum, we should have a possible fix posted very soon (tonight or tomorrow morning). While we can't duplicate the problem here, a few customers have experienced it and we believe we have it narrowed down.

Regards,

- Erik

Glad it works :) We had used a proper Windows function when we should have known it would be better to write our own! The windows function did not work on Win98!
