Congrats. Now if only you can pin GG down. I recall seieng GG being mentioned in some capacity with the Talonsoft buys, but I sure haven't seen his name mentioned for this yet.

Great stuff! Just one request... please don't get started until World In Flames goes gold 'cause there's only so many hours in the day to help out on this stuff
(Only kidding... )

Firstly congratulations HS on your appointment as Development Manager.
One question, will JCL be helping out?
Greyshaft I am also looking forward to WiF, but it seems to looking like vapourware at present.
cheers
Jim

It was for a while, but in the last three months it has really taken off. Check out the WiF Forum and count the design issues that have been raised, discussed and then set in stone by the developer. Right now I'm almost halfway through writing descriptions for 560 different WWII air units and I'm not the only busy little beaver down there. I'll know ... uhhh... I bet it's in beta before BoB/BTR gets to that stage. More power to both games!
QUESTION:
The original post spoke about a "monster" game. Are BoB/BTR going to be linked so you can play a single campaign from 1940 through to 1945? The mind boggles

Again, thanks guys
hmmm, that could be a interesting idea, if we could take the end result from BoB and then have that added to the data base for the next Campaign
ahhhhhhh, I can see too many hassles with it though
plus I don't think there are really any plans for the 1941-42 timeframe, so to combine them, there would be a very large gap in them
hopefully, we can get the UI to be the same in both games, so we can move between them, with out haveing to learn/relearn controls and keystrokes

Hey Werner -
I still have a slow PBEM game of BTR going (I think) - time to email my erstwhile opponent and make sure he is still breathing.
As for the sorting program - not sure why it went south ... sometime send me some more data and let me try it at this end. I did find one bug and fix it. This will give me a good excuse to fire up some new software tools I have but not used much.
