Will there be an option to buy the game without digital download for a reduced price?

usually the physical copy costs more (+$10USD IIRC).

Despite the DD format, isn't there typically a "gone gold" announcement before release? Even if there is no gold master?

I didn't buy HTTR because this one was going to have supply. Had I known that it was going to be as long as it has been, I would've bought HTTR.

I would recommend picking up a copy of HHTR - $10 at Amazon. 3 reasons:

1. You can have a printed manuals and then all you need to do is print out (or read on the screen) the sections on supply and exit VC's.

2. HTTR is still a great game (and at a bargain price).

3. There is serious talk that later releases of the AA series will allow upgrading the older maps to the newer engines, including upgraded estabs. If this comes to pass, it will be fairly easy to upgrade your HTTR scenarios to have the supply effects, exit VC's, and whatever else is developed as the system evolves!

I keep harassing the mailman , but the invitation to the "gone gold" party must have gotten lost or something

I like the thing those other Aussies (nearly typed Assies) at SSG do - when one of their games goes gold they announce it by publishing a picture of the team holding a yellow/golden cd in their hand. [8D]

I'm glad the fact they're one-way only doesn't disturb you in the least ...

Yeah, I'm a health freak : I eat lot's of fatty food, drink alcohol and only get out of my couch to go to my car, but I draw the line at drinking Aussie wine - that's just too unhealthy [;)] - So, you'll have to drink for the both of us

That sure is a challenge. Am I up to it? Yea! Bring on the Shiraz.
Incidentally there was a return ticket ... Jenny just hid it.
