MMO strategy games

Simulations (AirWarrior) and lately RPG (World of Warcraft) have been most typical examples of MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) games. There are few war games, like Shattered Galaxy and MekWars.

Has there even been suggested MMO type strategy game by Matrix?

It's been re-branded 'Battleground Europe". There's a link via 'games' from this page.

Not a 'strategy' game, though, but an FPS/simulation. Sort of Red Orchestra on a much larger scale, although the flight and tank sim elements are especially good.
