Swich off auto subs

Post by Historiker »

Is this possible, when a game was started with auto subs on?
I think I did manage to put it off in one PBEM, but in another I don't succeed with that [&:]

Yes you will getter results, but managing a 100 or so subs every turn also takes a HUGE amound of time

Unfortunately, there's no way to change it.  Knavey and I have a team game where this was set "on".  You can take control of subs once they've left port, but if you send them -back- to port, once they free up they sys dmg they have this nasty habit of launching themselves.  They also auto-return if they're low on fuel - you can get aroudn this (somewhat) by setting their home port to something close.

Yes, I know. And for repairs one mustn't disband them, but that's very annoying...

Subs are automatically launched only if the subs damage is two or less. But anyway, very annoying to notice that a computer controlled sub is sunk by plane near Tokyo...

Oh yes...it is VERY annoying to notice those little buggers sailing without orders.
