Fotification level

I am just learning the game with the demo and I find it difficult to tell how well units are entrenched. There is a very tiny icon on the top of a unit that shows it is entrenched and the manual shows different symbols for different levels - but on screen I can see no difference as it is REALLY REALLY TINY!
The tool tips don't seem to indicate the level of entrenchment.

Is there some way to tell I haven't found yet?

Look at the unit panel for this: ^^^^

Thanks. I had finally figured that out from browsing the AGEOD forum. I guess all the information is there once you learn where to look.
