We're aiming for January at this point, don't worry - there were just too many other releases to finish before Christmas.

After Christmas is just fine by me.

Forums have been awful quiet lately; that's a good thing, I think. So is the code for PC: Kharkov feature complete at this point, or will there be some surprises for us in January?

Probably.
I've been putting together some general playing tips on my website. Also pictures of my AFV model mods. (Holding off on AARs in case any change in scenarios.) Subject:Panzer Command

Agree, impressive stuff.

But I couldn't help but smile at the post dated april 6th, 2007, declaring "The next expansion of Panzer Command is almost complete".

Hrm, april 2007?? If they have been refining the game since then it must be as polished as a Blizzard game, right?!

Never give up hope :)

Actually some companies would have shoved it out the door and fixed it later.

Real life gets in the way, lots of other games needed done by Christmas, and Mobius spent a fortune on computers and software to try his hand at 3D modeling. He's done so well that we are waiting to see what all can be stuffed into the game. Another team member has done an outstanding job as well. Then scenarios need to be designed to use these units.

Might as well wait for the USA tax return spending season now... [:D]

Just use the time necessary to do it right. There has been a lot of new releases lately to keep us busy, anyway.

Speaking of 88s, in one Kharkov scenario where you are given 88s in one game I knocked out 6 T-34s in a single turn, and I think once one of them had 14 tank kills in a scenario.

the 88 anti tank guns 43 on and the 88 duel purpose guns are deadly, the tigers and nashorns? and other mounted 88's where used at great distances, this game currently limits the distances, BUT we can over come this per our prior conversation through changing the tables, and thus expanding the map from 1 km.. thanks
t34's v tiger ones at 2200 meters should see lots of dead reds ; "tip your hat to the tiger" as the 34 turrets would often blow off!

That is quite a lot of work and really only helps late war. Changing the scale of everything right away for those weapons you will miss out on everyones mods and user made scenarios. Up to mid 1943, with the exception of the 88/L56 most weapons don't reach across the map. (The ranges from PCOWS on are already compressed somewhat.)
Also, if you compress further your relative sighting ranges go way down. Your tanks may not see things in time to react. I inadvertenly backed a Ferdinand over a Russian infantry squad which promptly assaulted it and blew it up.

I was amazed in that other game. lol, how elephants and ferds are so poor on offense as the treads get blown and then they are useless.. caused me to think on the whole tank anti tank assualt gun equation...

I made a scenario called 'Ferdinands Fury' where 3 platoons of 4 Ferdinands with some infantry try to breach the second fortified belt at Kursk.  It took me a few trys to even get 300m into the map before I figured out how to properly use them.  (The scenario was first named 'Ferdinands Folly' since they did so poorly first few tries.)
Then I learned to advance in a wide line and not let any get out ahead of the others lest the Russian anti-tank guns get too many side hits.  Even knowing where most of the anti-tanks guns are, the buttoned up Ferdinands can't often spot the AT-guns as many are in gun pits.  I still willl lose about half to mines and track hits before the Russian tanks make an appearance.
