SKIRMISHERS

HOW DOES THE SKIRMISHER/SQUADRON SYSTEM WORK IN JOHN T BATTLEGROUND CV? I CAN'T FIND ANYTHING IN THE MANUAL?

Civil War?
 
Well except in Chickamauga there isn't one. Even then it isn't the same as the Nappy games. In the Civil War the skirmishers give you an every probing area ahead of you so you see if enemy units are there you will see them as Unknown.
 
Skirmishers do not give you an extra small unit.

And deploying skirmishers costs you one movement point from the unit.

I always use skirmishers, they are very useful.
