disband does not put troops into manning pool

Commander – Napoleon at War is the second in a series of high level turn based strategy games. It spans the Napoleonic Wars from 1805 to 1815, allowing players to control France or the Coalitions against it through the entire period or in shorter scenarios. Easy to learn, with fun and addictive gameplay, this is a Napoleonic wargame in the style of the old "Panzer General".

disband does not put troops into manning pool

When I disbanded troops, it did not seem to increase the number of available trained troops. THis would seem reasonable since these are soldiers that are send back home.

If it doesn't work, rename it. If that doesn't help, the new name isn't long enough.

Should disbanded troops increase the overall number of available troops in the pool?
According to the manual, disbanded troops are removed from the game. It makes no mention that they are added to the pool.
