what the hell

From the front lines in France and Russia to the deserts of North Africa and the airfields and convoys of Britain, the campaigns of World War II are yours to command in WW2: Time of Wrath! This turn-based grand strategy title, the highly improved and expanded sequel to WW2: Road to Victory, puts the player in charge of the political, economic and military decisions of one or more Axis or Allied nations, including minor nations.

[:D] this thread is a hoot.
it looks pretty obvious that waiting for the patch is making everyone a little crazy.

Yep! After I finished chewing my fingernails down, I did my toenails.
Finished THAT and now I'm chewing down the cats' (two of them) claws.

I am assuming that work is already being started on version 1.52 which will include some "forum like" language in event files to make the whole process are little more "interesting"

It is a great map Eric. Good job on the 1990 screen shot. It is a good example of how people should think before they write.

S,
I am glad that not everyone else is asleep at the wheel like someone is, must have been on vacation.

I think this is a great game. Very few games on this scale actually simulate the fast paced blitz warfare that characterized WWII. I didn't like the unit counter graphics, so I modded my own. If you look past the graphics, this is a quality game (and I am a picky bugger).

Robot? that'll be the day! Just look around these forums and you'll see lots of people slamming things about games they don't like.
In fact I once refused pointblank to review a Matrix game because it was so buggy and glitchy, and advised them to pull it from sale but was ignored and we had a bit of a row.
But to their credit they didn't boot me off their Press Reviewers List (yet!) which shows they can take constructive criticism and feedback and that they don't want fawning yes-men.
As regards ToW it seems okay to me and can only get better with new graphics etc..:)

Dear Bo,

I think they protest too much. I mean what's wrong with being a robot, they live forever.

Hasn't anyone read Asimov? I'd love to be a robot especially if my name was Spike.

Hi Poor old glad to hear from you, could use your help on th MWIF forums but there is no negativity there just r----s waiting with their tongues hanging out for a game now 5 years in the making and no end in sight, maybe just maybe if they complained to Matrix something would have been done a long time ago to help Steve over there. I bought the game TOW and I am really enjoying it but sometimes hard to see units in woods that have that deep green color on the map I also see where some posters will say oh just go into the program and change things you dont like Hah! you would not want this person trying to change anything, it would crash.
