Game Length & Resources

Hi

I've got 2 questions:

1) How long does the game last? (July '45 plus?)

2) Do destroyed resources ever reappear? After months of brutal fighting, I have driven the evil fascist trolls out of Rostov. This city used to have 5 resources, but due (I think) to having changed hands so many times, It now has no resources. Will I ever get any of them back, or am I SOL?

The game officially ends in July 1945 but there is nothing to keep you from continuing play after that point. It will just keep posting victory screens each turn after that point based on the current victory level.

I am not sure what happens with resources - I didn't even remember that they dropped when cities exchanged hands. Oil will rebuild, but I would would guess that resource points do not? If I get a chance and nobody knows, I will run a test on it.

Resources lost after a city is captured are lost permanently.
